I vaguely remember being told off for taking off my christening bracelet and leaving it outside when I was somewhere between the ages of one and a half and two and a half years.
I clearly remember watching Bosco (Irish preschooler TV show of the 80s) and seeing Marion or one of them trying to sweep with a brush with a curved handle. "This is useless!" she exclaimed. I didn't know what that meant, so in I toddled to my mother in the kitchen. "Mammy, you're useless!" I exclaimed, in order to find out what it meant. Apparently it meant I got sent to bed for being cheeky. I don't know how old I was but probably two or three.
And a definite dated one: I remember what I wore when I went to Australia (a few weeks before I turned three) and sitting on the suitcases in the hall with my mother singing "We're all going on a summer holiday" and everyone being very excited.
